Deposit and Cancellation Charge Policy
_

Our goal at Interdental Centre is to provide the highest quality care to all our patients in a timely manner.

However, we cannot run smoothly if patients miss or cancel appointments without giving sufficient notice. To help ensure we give our patients the best service, we are required to plan appointments carefully to respect everyone’s time. When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to other patients. In order to be respectful of your fellow patients if cancelling an appointment is necessary, we require that you call at least 48 working hours in advance.

Our appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time. Failure to give less than 48 working hours’ notice will result in your deposit being charged as a cancellation fee. In exceptional circumstances, a cancellation fee may be waived but this is at the discretion of the management team.

Please call the practice as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.

Booking Policy

The appropriate deposit is payable at the time of booking, appointments cannot be held without a deposit and may be offered to other patients. A fully refundable deposit is required for all appointments with all our dental specialists.

The deposit secures the booking and is non-refundable if the cancellation policy is not adhered.

All accounts are to be settled prior to leaving the clinic by credit/debit card or cash.

Deposit Collection Structure

• For check-ups, hygiene appointments, and other appointments of 30 mins or less, we will take a deposit of £30
• For other dental treatments, such as small/medium fillings etc., lasting up to 1 hour, we will take a deposit of £60 (or the full cost of the treatment, whichever is lower)
• For treatments over 1hr we will take a deposit of £100
• For any treatments lasting longer than 1.5 hours, we may take a deposit amounting to half the cost of the total treatment
• For facial aesthetics treatment, we will take a deposit of £60

Sedation and/or Implantology Treatment Cancellation Policy

We require a full price deposit for the cost of intravenous sedation plus 50% of the dental treatment fee. If you are having an implant surgery without the sedation, 50% of the dental treatment fee will be required as a deposit.

Usually we require multiple clinicians and extensive equipment for these appointments which creates complex diary management and therefore require 7 days minimum if cancelling these appointments.

Failure to give less than 7 days notice will result in your deposit being charged as a cancellation fee.

If you have any questions regarding our policy, please do not hesitate to contact the practice and talk to our Practice Manager.
